To be committed means that we are dedicated to a higher purpose or cause.

In order for our class to truly thrive, we need everyone committed to the learning process. Don't give up if things don't just "click" for you. Keep  working hard and things will come together!

I always tell my football players, "I don't care if you mess up as long as you are doing it full speed." It means that I care about their effort level. The same applies our class.
